Attn: Noles in Michigan - FSU vs. OU Update
Noles,
I hope you're all well.
Bailey's in Troy, MI is once again offering to host us during our games this season. They have been very hospitable in the past with a VIP area and some appetizers and drink specials.
They will have the game this Saturday against Samford at 12pm. I won't be able to attend this game, but feel free to go and let them know you're with us.
We are targeting the following weekend (Sept. 11th at 3:30pm) against The Oklahoma Sooners as our official Alumni Kickoff event. Tom Block and the FSU Alumni Assoc. has offered to email out to our entire database here in Southeast Michigan and invite everyone to this game. So I expect to have a big crowd. Please make sure to attend and show your support!

Ranked #15 and counting!!!
FSU raised their win total to 6 and their ranking to #15 in the BCS. Although they seem to enjoy spotting the opponent a few points before taking over, FSU is looking more and more like the Noles of old. It's great to see.

2008 Wreck the Wreck Halloween Party (Atl, GA)
Hello Alumni Club Presidents!

Two in a row!
The Noles put up another impressive victory this past Saturday against Chattanooga. The problem is...it was Chattanooga. This weekend, we will see if the Noles are for real or are just rebuilding.
The Noles play #18 Wake Forest at 7pm next Saturday night. Unfortunately, I will miss the game as I will be at a wedding. But hey, that's what smart phones are for. Please let me know if you want to see the game at Blackfinn and I will let them know how many to expect. I spoke with the manager on Saturday and he said he would accommodate us for every game as long as we kept him in the loop on how many are coming. So please RSVP as early as you can.

FSU vs. Western Carolina
Although BlackFinn has the FSU game listed on their tv schedule, I just don't have confidence that the game will be available. From everything I'm reading, it will be on Pay-per-view only and bars usually won't buy certain games like that. So, I'd rather not schedule everyone to come out without full confidence that we will have a game to watch. Stay tuned and we will get together for the first "official" televised FSU game.
